Attention all students: 
When arriving late to school you must scan/tap in at the attendance office. 
Please ensure you have your ID when checking in. 

  • Café A will be open for breakfast before school daily. You must come directly from your bus. The cafe closes at 7:00

 

  • ATTENTION SENIORS CLASS OF 2026!! IT IS THAT TIME OF YEAR!! YOU CAN NOW GO ON THE SACHEM EAST WEBSITE UNDER GRADUATION INFO 2026 TO FIND THE LINK TO ORDER YOUR CAP AND GOWN.  ORDERING WINDOW WILL CLOSE ON FEBRUARY 27TH.  ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE STOP DOWN TO C175.  

 

  • With the phone ban during lunch, Renaissance Student Leadership is trying to make lunch more fun, creative, and social - but we need your help. They are collecting screen-free items like playing cards, Uno cards, board games, puzzles, art supplies, and other fun, school-appropriate activities for everyone to enjoy. You can drop off these donations in the Renaissance Donations boxes near the main lobby and senior parking lot door. Let's work together to make lunch periods a time for connection and creativity! Thanks for your support.

 

  • Let’s help our local community members in need and have some fun in the process. Souper Bowl of Caring VI is a Canned Soup drive (+Mac n Cheese) competition between Sachem East and Sachem North that is running the entire month of January. All soup cans must be turned in by February 10th. They will be counted on February 12th, 2026. The winning school will win the Coveted Souper Bowl of Caring Trophy and bragging rights for the year! This is a great opportunity for community service and helping those in need! East: Sponsored by the Sachem East Interact Volunteer Club. See Mr. Lemke with any Questions. Collection boxes are located at the Main Office, and Room B221.

 

  • DURING TESTING WEEK WHICH IS NEXT WEEK, 1/20-1/23 ALL BOCES STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO GO TO BOCES UNLESS THEY ARE TAKING A TEST.  BOCES IS NOT CLOSED AND WE WILL BE PROVIDING TRANSPORTATION.   ALL BOCES STUDENTS TAKING EITHER A REGENTS OR MIDTERM NEXT WEEK, PLEASE GO TO MR. KOLAR'S OFFICE, ROOM A216, TO PROVIDE THE DATE AND TIME OF YOUR TEST SO YOU CAN RECEIVE AN EXCUSED ABSENCE FROM BOCES.  ALL EXCUSED ABSENCES WILL BE VERIFIED. BOCES TRANSPORTATION IS RUNNING ON NORMAL SCHEDULE.

 

  • There will be a Gamers Club meeting on Thursday January 15th, 10th period in the library.

 

  • The Room for Peace is a calm space with activities & strategies that can help support mental health and wellness. The Room for Peace is open 2nd -8th period every day. Students may request a pass to the Room for Peace during their assigned lunch periods. Passes are available in the cafeterias.
