Attention all students: 
When arriving late to school you must scan/tap in at the attendance office. 
Please ensure you have your ID when checking in.

  • ATTENTION ALL SENIORS: Seniors that need to leave earlier than their regularly scheduled dismissal time must have a parent call the Attendance Office to give you permission to leave early. You must then come down to the Attendance Office to sign your pass to legally leave the building. If you do not come down to sign your pass, you will be considered cutting and will face the disciplinary actions to that offense.
     

  • ATTENTION TEACHERS: Just a reminder that today, we will be releasing 10 minutes early to give students time to find their buses. Please do not dismiss students until you hear the announcement to do so.
     

  • ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: Starting September 15th, Sachem East PTA will be starting Pizza Tuesday’s. This will be outside the auditorium after school at 2pm. 2 slices for $5 or 1 slice for $3. Cash & Electronic payment will be accepted.
     

  •  ATTENTION STUDENTS AND STAFF: No loaner Chromebooks will be given out until September 14th Please do not send students down for loaners at this time.
     

  • ATTENTION 9TH, 10TH & 11TH GRADERS: School picture day will be held during your GYM class on Wednesday September 9th and Thursday September 10th.
     

  • ATTENTION STUDENTS: Chromebook Insurance is still available. If you would like to purchase the insurance for this year, please go to the Sachem Website under Resources>Family/Community Resources, then click on the link for the insurance. Insurance will be available to purchase until October 25, 2026.
     

  • The Girls' Varsity Soccer team started their season last week first with a scrimmage against nationally ranked St. Anthony's High School. It was a tough battle and ultimately the game ended in a 1-1 tie. East then played last year's Long Island Division III Champions Sayville in a non-league game and tied them as well with a score of 0-0. Finally, this past Saturday the team opened their regular season schedule against Centereach and beat them by a score of 3-1. Goals were scored by sophomores Charlotte F. and Hailey B. and junior Lucy D.. Assists came from sophomores Audrey M. and Charlotte F. and junior Lucy D.. The girls' next game is today away against Pat-Med.
     

  • This past week, the JV Boys Soccer team opened their season with 2 solid wins. They first battled to a 1-0 victory last Monday, on the road against our cross-town rivals at Sachem North. Justin A. scored the only goal. Vincent B. was masterful in net with six saves to earn his first shutout of the season. This past Thursday, the boys opened home with a 3-1 win against Bayshore. Justin A. continued his scoring ways by netting 2, along with Derek G. adding one. Solid team effort from everyone. The boys are traveling to Brentwood today. Kickoff is at 4:30pm.
